   Grain Markets Mixed as Quiet Consolidation Continues Ahead of Harvest

   December corn is up 1/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 1/2
cent, December KC wheat is up 4 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 3 1/4
cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 5 cents.

   EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 1/4 cent per bushel,
November soybeans are down 1/2 cent, December KC wheat is up 4 1/4 cents,
December Chicago wheat is up 3 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 5
cents.

   CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Tuesday morning, after a
quiet session on Monday where tech stocks fell but the broader market closed
slightly higher. Without any major surprises in new data, the market's focus
will be on the Federal Reserve meeting and the decision to lower rates by
either 25 or 50 basis points. All the discussion is on the odds of each choice,
and the potential impact to markets.

   OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average up 228.30 at 41,622.08 and the S&P 500 up 7.07 at 5,633.09, The 10-Year
Treasury yield ended at 3.621%. Early Tuesday, the September Dow Jones Futures
are up 118 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of
London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.84%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up
0.85% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.89%. Asian markets are
mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 1.05% and China's Shanghai Composite
Index down 0.48%.
